Subframe connectors
Down the road I was going to throw subframe connectors on the car ('93 GT hatch). I have heard that the MM full length connectors are the best around right now, but require a little extra work to get them in. I was originally thinking I would be fine with standard length ones, as I really am not going to drag the car, just a street car with a h/c/i in the future (stock motor right now). So I found a set of new Kenny Brown subframe connectors(standard length)a guy in town has, for $60 bucks. Figured they would fit the bill, a little cheaper, and no shipping. What do you guys think of these v. the MM? Or vs. other subframe connectors.
Also, I went on KB's website and it states that they have not produced any new parts since 11/05 due to counterfeit issues. So maybe these are a bust...well maybe in the fit department them might be...
Any one hear about Kenny Brown not producing new parts for this long?? Thanks

to be honest subframes is just a piece of rectangle steel tubing that is welded to the bottom of ur car.. it really doesnt matter what brand you get. you could even make them urself just buy a length of steel and cut it to length and weld it on. granted diff companies make diff style ones but there really isnt much difference. they all do the same job.
yeah I know, steel is steel, until you get under the car and the realization that the sh*t don't fit sets in.I wanted to know if anyone knew about that kenny brown situation...Stuff like that is not good for the hobby of his business, and how people get screwed on forums like this buying sight unseen. Thanks for chiming in though.
