Finally got another Notch!!!
So back when I was 16 I had traded my Cousin for an 88 Notch back Cop car. I had the car all of two days when he asked to borrow it and then promptly put it in a ditch sideways ripping the rearedn out of the car and basically killing it. Now some 13 years later I got another one. I hadn't really been looking for one but this one just seemed like a good deal so I grabbed it.
It's an 89 LX automatic with 156 on the clock. The car seems pretty nice so far and has a few go fast items that I could take or leave. Intake, exhaust, O/R X-pipe, Headers, and afew other nic nac's. I've already picked up a few more items to help it in that dept though. My plans are to make a mid 12 sec daily driver car but still keep it automatic and civil on the street. Not the fastest thing on the street, but no slouch either. I really want to go turbo on it, but being realistic I know that won't happen anytime soon. At least not until my 66 Fairlane is finished. So here are a few pic's of the car how I picked it up. I got it pretty cheap and besides the crappy paint job I'm happy with it. The body if fair, the interior is very nice and the motor runs pretty strong.

RE: Finally got another Notch!!!
Thanks Dime.
BBK headers to BBK O/R X, then that goes to 40 series flowmasters. Not a fan of the flowmasters though. I think I'm going to put Bassani's under it. I like them better. Oh and the wheel's are 15x4's up front and 8's in the rear.

The fairlane is coming along. The body is super straight and I'm picking up the crank and rods tonight. The wheels come tommorrow and the brakes will be here next week. Once i get her back on her own feet I'll snap some more recent pictures. But for now this is what she started off as. It will be a .30 over 390 FE powered car with Forged pistons, Peened and polished C6AE rods, and ARP bolts. Edelbrock RPM heads, intake and Cam with an 850 Demon and 150 shot of nitrous, all going through a Toploader 4 speed. Nothing says old school like banging gears the hard way.
All this is an attempt to run down my Brothers 70 Torino Convertible and Uncles 69 Camaro. The Torino puts down 543 RWHP on the motor through a Toploader as well, and the Camaro will be up around 500 horse. I'm going to be outgunned on this one I think.....
