Connecting Rod side play?

connecting rod has side to sideplay after the piston was installed and rod bolts torqued to specs is this bad?

That's how it's supposed to be. It gives room for the oil that's coming off the bearings to get out, and provides space so that the rods/crank don't rub each other to death. You can check it with a feeler gauge if you like, the book has a spec for it, but I can't recall exactly what it is.

its slides sideways only when its moves on the piston shim too

Connecting-rod side clearances should be 0.0008 to 0.0015-inch
