Default Sad Day for My Stang..Wrecked! Picture.

Well on the way to work friday morning, i'm in the turning lane making a right and all of a sudden a honda accord comes into my lane, doing atleast 30+ hit the door where the quarter panel meets. Now since most insurance companies use Kelly Blue Book to see the value of the car..when i first got the car 100k miles and in MINT condition it was only worth 2k.

Since the other guy was at fault, i'm still looking at getting my car salvaged. I work at a body shop and its going to be a good 2k+ repair.

I won't know whats going on with it until i get some more estimates to call the guys insurance company and see whats going.

1st picture is the damage and the 2nd one is the side that got hit..before the damage []

+1. I meen im only 18 but i did some stupid things in the past and learned my lesson! Always check those blind spots!

If they do want to salvage it im just going to keep it, and with the check they give me put my motor in a old notchback!

and then part out the car!

You're right, it doesn't look that bad in the picture and in my eyes it isn't even that bad.
But on the quarter panel, it is creased and has a big hole in it which is going to cause it being a little bit more money. It really isn't that bad but due to the car being older itsnot worth as much.

Ever since the accident my e brake light has been comming on and off also.

If you work at a shop that should be nothing to get fixed. You could even jut do a patch panel on the lower rather than sectioning a new one in at the sail. Only some insurance compnies use NADA etc. Most have an indep. third party evaluation. What you are looking at at worst is a door and a quarter with the parts on used prices, probably not a total.
