Default Just checking in!

Hey guys, a lot of you probably don't know me but some of the older member probably remember me. Anyways, I've been at college which has taken up a lot of my time and I've acquired a new toy (yes I still have the fox ) that I've been playing with. It's a 2003 F250 SuperDuty 6.0 turbo diesel. So far I've just got a 4" Magnaflow turbo back exhaust on it with a 5" tip and a cat delete pipe. I'm probably going to leave the pickup alone and start getting back into the Mustang a little more, but I can't do much, money is still tight. Here's what I have currently got into the 5.0.

Motor:
-Novi 1000 single belt system
-AFM powerpipe
-Pro-M 75mm MAF
-BBK 70mm Throttle Body
-TrickFlow Street Heat upper and lower intake manifolds
-TrickFlow Stage 1 Camshaft
-TrickFlow Valve Spring Upgrade Kit
-Summit Racing Timing Chain and Gears
-Ford Racing Hydraulic Roller Lifters
-Kirban Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
-3G alternator conversion
-MSD cap/rotor
-Taylor Spiro-Pro plug wires
-MSD Blaster TFI coil
-Black Magic Xtreme electric fan
-3 row radiator
-Walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Paxton FMU

Exhaust:
-MAC 1 5/8" unequal length shorty headers
-MAC 2.5" off road h-pipe
-MAC 2.5" Flowpath catback with 3" tips
-FRPP Locking Header Bolts
-Copper Header Gaskets

Drive Train/Transmission:
-Custom Built Edge Racing 3000 rpm torque converter
-B&M transmission cooler
-Baumann AOD ReCal kit w/ sonnex boost valve (hard shifts, shift points set at 5500 rpms)
-Bronze TV cable bushing
-3.90 gears

Suspension:
-Strange Engineering 10 way adjustable shocks and struts
-Maximum Motorsports XL series full length subframes
-Summit upper/lower rear control arms
-Ford Racing Performance Parts C springs in the rear
-Eibach drag springs in the front
-Removed front swaybay
-Nitto 555r drag radials (245/50/16's) on the rear

Exterior:
-6pc. clear headlight set

Interior:
-Hunsaker Vinyl Synkros in Black Vinyl

Other Accessories:
-Autometer A-pillar dual gauge pod
-Autometer Ultra Lite Vac/Boost gauge
-Autometer Ultra Lite 100-250 degree water temp gauge

Now that I've got a second vehicle I've been thinking about finding a 351w and turning it into a 393 and beefing up theAOD. I'm surprised thatthe transmissionhaslasted this long with the power that I've got running through it. It hasn't even slipped or anything yet.I'm contemplating selling the Novi 1000 and keeping this one naturally aspirated. These are just thoughts as of now though. Anyways, I just thought that I would drop in and say hi and check in to see how MF is doing.

Nope, still no numbers or 1/4 mile times for it haha. Those will come soon though hopefully. Hack, I'm glad that the swaybar brackets have been holding up great! My dad drovethe ol' hotrodfor a few days to and from work (I'm storing it in his garage)and he got a few good kill stories! He smoked a newer (05-08) Mustang GT on the interstate from a roll starting at like 65mph lol and a newer grandam (I know this one isn't much to brag about). I can't remember if I had posted my LS1 (A4 tranny mostly stock)kill or not but that one was fun also.

The powerstroke is great fun, it's pretty quick (no where near as quick as the fox though ). I've got the Extended Cab Short Bed FX4, I love it.

I've got an '03 6.0 as well with the Banks 6-gun, Speed Loader, MBRP Exhaust, pushing around 500 horses. It will move out for a heavy pickup. Nice fox you got there.

And you haven't had to put studs in it yet? I'm impressed! You should really ditch the 6 gun, it's hell on your transmission and your motor! Check out these guys http://www.spartandieseltech.com/, safer tunes, more reliability, better driveability, and I'd put money on it that you get more power and torque. Custom tuning is definentally the way to go with a 6.0 especially the early ones. You could probably sell that 6 gun on ebay, buy the unlimitedspartan tunes and the X3 and still have money left over.
