Just checking in!

RE: Just checking in!
That's great! I'd have a tuner on this truck already if I wasn't so afraid of blowing HG's and having to put studs on it. Another thing I love about our 03's is the turbo, it's the loudest out of all of the years if you haven't noticed. The damn thing sounds like a jet plane! With the 03's though it's either a hit or a miss, you either get one with small warranty issues or no issuesoryou get one that'sin the shop every week. I thinkyouand I must havegotten good ones. We've only had to have it in for two warranty issues, replace the old turbo with the new updated one and replace a few injectors. Since then we haven't had one issue with it and it has been phenominal. Have you brought it to the track yet to see what it'll run? Here's just one of the threads that I found about banks vs. sct custom tuning, http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/6-0...banks-sct.html

I bought mine in Feb. '03. So it was one of the first on the lot. You're right about the jet sound. The '03's sound like no other. Especially with no cat and 4" exhaust. I'm definately going to see about getting rid of my programmer for the SCT. Mine runs great, but I hate the way the transmission shifts. Thanks for the info.

What's up 92,
long time no see bro. I am just finishing my 331 build. Should be in by the end of this week.
I also have a PS F-250, but mine is an 02 and has the 7.3L... It has about 96k miles on it, and the only thing I have had to do is replace a cam position sensor. Other than that, change the oil and drive it. Has given me no problems. I also have the Banks 4" exhaust, and a Bullydog programmer.

Kasey (sp) I'm glad to hear that you're making some huge progress on your hotrod! That things going to scream especially with your driving. 90_Mustang_GT, if you don't have some nice aluminum heads alreadyI would suggest spendingyour money there first. The gains are nice, but I would have much rather have a nice set of heads instead of the blower as of right now. If you're dead set on getting a supercharger you'll love it! Like I said the gains are nice and the thing absolutelyrips the pavement off the road. Just follow the directions andtake it nice and slow.
