Default My master plan

was thinking towards the future....as usual. and came to thinking about what to do to my fox, both the 86 and the 91

after I graduate college and start making good paychecks in whatever agency that I get hired from... ATF, EPA, FBI, State police etc...

I want to build up both of my cars... and get a truck or an S197 or both, doesnt need to be an expensive truck, anything with a trailer hitch and 4x4

now anyway

here is my master plan for both

'91 Convertible

347 stroker
forged bottom end
Full trickflow track heat or street heat top end
dont know what type of cam yet
130 amp alt
Full MSD Ignition system or a megasquirt system
Electric fan and waterpump
solid steering shaft
quick ratio steering rack
MM Coilover suspension kit, like the road and track kit which has everything
tubular K-member
full length subframe connectors
6pt roll cage
viper spec t56 conversion
Spec Stg 2 clutch or possibly a stage 3
5 lug conversion with baer big brake kit
17 inch rims... un decided
255lph Fuel pump
Corbeau racing seats recovered in white leather
aside from rims, visually remain current

little details, I forgot like braided brake lines, stainless fuel lines etc

the plan for the vert is to make a kick *** touring machine that can carve corners like it was on rails, the 1/4 will suffer but thats where the 86 comes to play

'86 LX t-top

347 stroker or a 351 conversion bored out as big as I can go
full top end kit with a 750cfm carb or larger
built C4 with B&M hammer shifter
Built 9 inch with 4:30s
mini tub
Weld pro stars with the widest Mickys I can stick in it with the 9 inch and mini tub
drag shocks with airbag
full length subframes or through the floors, battle boxes
tubular k member, that either uses light weight coil overs or retains stock strut setup
removed sway bar
battery in trunk
manual steering rack
10 pt cage
light weight seats
tin interior
150 shot
4 inch cowl hood
new paintjob, red over black

plan for this car is to build a 1/4 mile monster that can run as fast as I can go or the 10pt cage allows

if I tear apart anything 1st, it would be the '86

the 91 is too clean to tear up right now IMO, its a nice DD right now, could use a lil more oomph, but it carts me around without too much gas consumption...

but this will all take place after I am out of school and making a decent living in my career. and I know both will take at least 1 year or more to complete each, when I get to that point in time... Its not like I'm getting married anytime soon (single, not looking or really caring) or having kids (dont like em)either, so once I am making more money I'll have a decent nest egg to play with...

I wouldnt waste my money on TF's engine kits, especially on a 347, and putting in a forged bottom end on a stock 302 is a waste of money
