AFR 165 heads, GT40x, GT40y, GT40 iron, GT40p's (recommend ford racing headers), Edelbrock Performer, Trickflow Twisted Wedge are all headsthat will work on the stock bottom end.

Stay away from patriot heads. Read this post here: http://bbs.hardcore50.com/vbulletin/...ad.php?t=43122
Not saying I'd ever use them cause I wouldn't cause I'm a AFR or canfield nut!! but those heads weren't like that from patriot...that was after some NERB with a die grinder tried to do a ametuer port job and set up[:@]

Not for nothing but the first pair of heads AFR sent me were garbage but they were really good about replacing them for me.

You have alot of options... If you choose to stay NA, you can get a good set of AFR heads, custom cam, and an intake.. that you get you to your goal..

Or you could go the boosted route.B&G turbo sells a nice starter kit and at a good price.. A stock motor with a bolt on turbo kit will get you to your goal on minimal boost (5psi) turn it to 10-12 psi when your ready and you would have 450RWHP give or take.. or just find a used Supercharger and slap it on.. either way will get you to your goal
