well i have an extended hood on my car so obviously the stock hood hinges wont work and i was wondering if anybody has ever seen a corvette style hood hinge on a foxbody mustang. i googled it but i didnt know what it would be called. it would just be kinda nice to not have to lift off the hood to work on it, which wouldnt be much of a problem if the car would stay running good.

 

You mean like a 5" cowl hood that goes up the lower 1/4 of the windsheild. If so, No hinges, those are pin on only.

 

ya thats what i got. i know there pin on only, but i wasnt sure if there was any kit or something that i could have the hinges on the front. i see them all the time for ricers but didnt know if they made some for mustangs, or if its even possible to custom make one.

 

Have never see a fox with front tilt hinges. I'm sure it could be done if someone was willing to engineer it, after all they make those worthless lambo door kits for Mustangs.
