summit racing tech SUCKS!

Default summit racing tech SUCKS!

just wanted to vent that i have been waiting patiently for some cam technical advice from summit via email. its been over a week. this is frustrating. has anyone else had this problem?[:@]

yeah, i want to call them, but the tech line is not toll free, and i dont have long distance. i guess thats my problem, not theirs. im not trying to bash them, i just want a response from them so i can order my flippin parts.

Well i never even try to ask for advicei n an email it always takes forever for them to respond no matter the company because of the intake of hundreds they get a day, call em up ill give you the 10 cents a minute for it.

i'm just trying to get their advice on a cam for my setup. it must be smog legal in cali, good idle , good power to around 6000 rpm, work with stock cobra valve springs and pushrods etc........................... your advice? i know ive asked before, but i need something from their catalogue since i have gift cards through them.

Summit is not the place to get good cam info. If your not paying for a custom you would be better off calling comp, they will reccomend one for you. The custom cam maker's are not going to give you free advice which is understandable because their advice is worth paying for.

here's your answer: STOCK CAM
a CAM SWAP must be accompanied by a valvetrain upgrade no ifs ands or buts a e-cam as far as size is your best bet and carries a c.a.r.b label to go through cali inspection
