ya if you want to put a cam in, you need new pushrods, and springs....

Usually you do not need pushrods. Better springs yes, not pushrods. Especially for an E cam.
It's already got GT40 heads on it so the E-303 would be my choice.

well im not running regular gt springs, but a full cobra valvetrain, which I assume is better? can someone correct me on this? also, is the E cam any good? what kind of power gains should i see out of it?

I have a friend that runs and E-cam in his 87' GT with stock heads, and he hammers the hell out of it wih no problems
