what cam and or h/c/i combo are you using??? 1.7's may not be necessary and I'd check ptv if using 1.7's for sure

Im using stock 94 gt valve covers with GT40P heads, stock pushrods, Crane 2031 camshaft. Im not sure if they will clear? When buying a timing chain what does a 1 piece fuel pump and a 2 piece fuel pump mean, what should i get for my needs.

If you will not clear with 1.7:1 ratio rockers, you are likely not going to clear with 1.6:1 rockers.

Lift is not a factor that one should worry about for piston to valve clearance.

A Rollmaster Timing Chain (best I have seen) with some Scorpion roller rockers are always a safe bet.

I got some crane 1.7 rollers same as off the cobra and are only 179 for a set and fit as long as you take the baffle out. But i am using them on a pedestal mount gt40 head.

I'm using the Crane 1.7 pedestal mounts as well, with the same cam, the Crane 2031. You should use 1.7's with that cam, since it was designed for 1.7 ratio rockers. I went with a Comp Magnum double roller, just whatever you get, get a good quality true double roller. As far as the 1 or 2 piece fuel pump eccentric, that depends on which one you have, which isneither. It's a round piece that sits offset and is used to run a mechanical fuel pump for carb'd applications. Since you have an EFI engine, you don't have the eccentric so it doesn't matter. The reason they state that is because the 2 different eccentrics fit slightly differently on the cam gear.

You will need to notch your pistons if you use 1.7's.
