Nah I have heaters in the garage so I could do it if I absolutely wanted to.

As far as getting a used one, is there a way to check it out of the car to make sure its atleast in decent shape? Or is it one of those put it in, and see what happens?

lol yall are funny.... i wish i had a garage... ive done trans swaps in the snow, and a motor swap last month... so its not too cold out... just do it yourself, its damn easy.... or hey paysome one, its your money...

and yea, just get another and rebuild this one at your own time... if you decide to sell it let me know, i can rebuild them, and another spare would be nice to have

Well, we've already seen what happens to his rebuilds!!
bernie, ive yet to run my rebuilt t5 in my car... the one that blew up was an astroperformance one, and the one i rebuilt is sitting in my shed, the one in the car is oiut of an sn95 ofcourse i swaped input shafts

only trans i rebuilt thats in a car is a muncie(sp) 4 speed, in an old vette, and as far as i know its still good
