Default dyno tune costs

Whats the average price you guys pay for a dyno tune? I just got a quote from livernois in Detroit and they said for their special winter rate it was 485.00 for a na tune. This sound about average? This place is about an hour away from where I live but they really do look good on their site, plus i got to talk with an employee back in the summer who was working with their portable dyno. Unless anyone can recommend a dyno shop in the Saginaw area thats good then this is prolly where ill end up going. Also this price is for a mustang dyno, not sure if that affects anything at all. Thanks guys.

im not exactly sure i know my dyno was only about 200 but my friend knew the guys and it was also on a mustang dyno and from what i heard at the sema show this year the mustang dynos are suppose to be the most exact dynos there are because some dynos are not exact with hp ratings.

485 is about right if it includes the price of a chip

I'm carbed and i paid $150 for a dyno tune, and we did six pulls. The guys at the local shop are mustang guys and i had done business with them before so i knew them pretty good.

Exactly. My last one was 700.00. Included a multi tune chip, 3 hrs of dyno time and a couple other lil odds and ends.

well the guy emailed me back saying that the normal price is 625 and it includes welding in an o2 bung(not sure what u need one for) and a dyno print out. I sent him a message back asking about if it comes with a chip and how long i have to get the car running good. I think i may look around a little more but ya never know.
