you will have to sand down the whole car before primeing it , the rust spots will have to be ground not sanded and you will have to use a rust inhibitor on the spots , a haynes manual really don't have a section about body panelreplacement like i said go to your local library they will have books on it that you can check out .remember start small thing go big .
