Default Minor Accident....

so i lent my car out to a friend and some ******* ran him off the road on a one way street (and he was going the wrong way...WTF??) and upon running into a curb of somesort he screwed up my pasenger front rim and tire

my questions are, after fixing or replacing the rim (i dropped it off at the local shop they said it may be fixable, wont know till friday night) am i going to have to worry about my front end, it looked fine and the alighment didnt look off?

and also does anyone have any 16 inch 4 lug rims there looking to get rid of in the suffollk long island area???
or could you identify what rims are on my car, heres a pic

It depends how hard you hit your front end. I work at a tire discounters and i know that they check alignment, brakes and steering racks for free. When you get a wheel, take it to a tire store and get that stuff checked out just to be safe. If it was enough to damage your rim, you need to get it checked out

I had this happen to my 93 gt when it had 3500 miles on it. My now gf was driving and brushed a curb for only 6 feet. I made her show me where she did it and seen the tire mark on it on the curb. The k member got pushed back and the control arm and strut were bent. It was unbelievable to me at the time that such a little swipe of a curb could do that damage. The car was pulling bad and the steering wheel was off like a 1/4 turn.

If your wheel is off or the front end is pulling take a look at the k member mounting bolts for signs of shifting. The alignment shop can check if the strut or control arm is bent.
