Default gauge cluster cover

is the 87-89 gauge cluster cover the same as a 90-93 ?
i did the airbag to tilt conversion and im using a 89 column shroud and it falls short of the dash and the rubber is showing ...
i was going to have the column shroud customized to fit with fiberglass or something but someone told me if i switched the gauge cluster cover to an 87-89 everything will fit and line up ...any info ?

I have the 90 - 93 bezel in my 87 and it fit fine, I later put in a tilt wheel column and still had no problems. The rubber will show a little it is there to "fill" the gap. I have mine on the outside because I am missing some of the plastic pins that hold the rubber on. Your better off with the newer bezel the older one has a even larger rubber filler. The older one also has a warning light panel on the lower right side that I think is un-sightly and as I have an LX not a GT it was useless, it is the reason I went with the newer bezel.

Did you get the correct column cover (shroud) for a tilt wheel?

The only thing I had to change with the 90 - 93 bezel was due to the knee panel under the column of a non-airbag car is totally different. The newer bezel did not have the mounting holes for one of the older trim piece that fits under the column. I had to do a little customizing here but it looks factory. Which reminds me I didn't cover this yet on my web site need to get pictures and up date it.

Here are a couple pictures of mine I just took so you can compare what you have, don't mind the dust it has been sitting a while.
