seen the new 2 stage intake from bbk?
has anyone seen the new 2 stage intake from bbk? although its for the 4.6 its a SICK design! individual secondary throttlebodies that open at whatever rpm you want. WHY cant they make one for the 5.0? this sucks. sorry ts so new i havent found pics on the net yet, but its in there 08' catalogue.

i agree with that, but the idea is solid. i cant believe no one has done it yet, honda and dodge have been doing it for years, and it works great. i installed one on this autocross full race neon i had with excellent results. i hooked up the secondaries servo to my shift light on my autometer tach. i just set the rpms with the dial, and your golden.

even though bbk's quality sucks right now, i love the fact that they are innovative and thinking out side the box with design and function, they just need to invest in quality tooling.

your right, but they made this for the 2 valver! If someone made one for the 5.0, i would jump all over it . thats what i was thinking.
plus edelbrock hs the new 4.6 2valve airgap type intake. it looks like a carb intake with an elbow. where was this crap when i had a 2 valve mod motor? plus you can install the elbow any direction you want?! damn---------

My 96 Windstar has a split port 3.8L secondary plated open @ 3500rpm @ WOT for more power. Nothing new. The 05-up 3V Mustangs have charge motion plates as well as the 4V Mark VIII 4.6L engines.
It's alot easier to do on these engine because there is no lifter valley under the intake so there is lots of space for these goodies. Not so on a OHV engine.
