holy sh#t thats stupid not that just the fact i thought something was wrong as if u did nt know i hid most of the wires and i thought that this was leading to a wiring problem.

maybe the motor was just a tooth off as i first thought and i flooded it

lxman refresh my memory when dropping the dizzy in on tdc the rotor points at about 12:30 or so right?

Sounds about right. Does your cap have #1 cast in it?
If so, point the module at about 5 o clock, see where the #1 terminal is on the cap. The rotor should be pointing near there when it is all of the way in.

yeah thats what i reset it to

i guess in the mrning ill drop the plugs,wires back on and see what it does i guess

hey adder does this also sound right about how the dizzy turns on fuel pump and what not when u move the dizzy it does this?

yeah im a 99 percent sure that my dizzy is installed right.the rotor is pointing the same as in your picture adder

the distributor is the ECM's source for camshaft position sensing. the fuel pump circuits would be triggered by the engine beginning to crank over, or by you manually spinning the main shaft of ther disty

this might be a stupid question... but nobody else asked... did you set the engine at top dead center on #1 when you installed the distrubutor? when you are trying to start the car does it crank normal, but just wont start?
