Some of them are nasty...cause most of the turbo ones that have real HP are AWD...see GSX. anyway with that being said you will get dusted off the line with out a way to get your HP to the ground. but you can do him good with only a few g's in up grades....H/C/I and tires and gears.

You really have to watch out for those DSM'sThey can be pretty quick.My buddy ran a 12.34 With a 60 trimm turbo and supporting mods.(which is not that much)I raced him before that and just got murdered.

if hes a gsx with 300 hp he will run times like a stock evo, around 4.5 0-60 and 13 flat quarters, 12's with good tires. if hes a fwd gst with 300hp, youll smoke him , cause he aint gettin traction with those front tires. throw some heads and intake and good tires and youll take him

sorry that i am not fluent in rice , but what i read was a 92 eclipse , i didn't know or was aware that the gsx version was available in 92 nor did he say it was a gsx . all the ones i have seen and raced around here are the 16 valve ohc cars . now i know for sure that the 95 16 valve eclipse's are no slouches . now i know they are makeing good power with the four cylinders in those cars now , but aren't the models you guys talking about a little newer than 92.i am not trying to come off as an @$$ but all i read was 92 eclipse and 300 hp , no mention of it being turbo or anything . sorry if i offended any one on here i was just replying with what i have expereinced personally .

AWD Turbo option was available in the Eclipse from like 89-99. After that they went to non turbo V6 engines. They also offered the AWD turbo in the talons till 98. The lasers had it till 94. The pre 95 ones are the ones you really have to watch out for.

well i don't know what it has all i know is he is looking at a 92 eclipse on craigslist that claims to have 300 hp. and i was just wondering what i needed so that i can take him if it is true. But i might have him talked into buying a 94 mustang gt. he really like mine.
