Now my question is to you guys. Can you explain to me why I only need the 28oz. Harmonic Balancer and Billet Steel Flywheel checked? After talking to him im kinda confused about this stuff. I told him im wanting a 400hp motor. I have 30lb injectors, 75mm MAF, 70mm TB and a few other mods already. Still not sure if im going with afr 185's or TF High Flows tho. And i told him i was looking at the xe247hr cam also. Not that i dont trust the guy at all im just confused on what to and not to buy here. This is my first major build like this so im kinda pissing in the wind at the moment. Thanks guys!

 

i dont know exactly what your asking about the 28 oz balancer and what not my 306 is balanced at 50

but there are a few guys on here that have bought from woody so give it a few and im sure those guys will chime in

 

Go with the 28 oz balance. Stroker kits are typically 28 or 0 oz imbalance. It is much better.

The flywheel and balancer can be used to balance to the rotating assembly since it is attached to spinning rotating assembly.

Woody will treat you right. I do not like the way his cam grinder acts, but I keep Woody seperate.

AFR 185cc heads will be a nice addition.

Go with Ed Curtis @ www.flowtechinduction.com. He sells the AFR 185cc heads and can get you a custom camshaft to match your combination and goals. He can get you anything from gaskets to heads...

 

So basically i need to get the 28oz. Harmonic Balancer, Billet Steel Flywheel, and Camwith this motor from him right? And all i gotta do is buy intake and heads and i should be good? I have most of the bolt ons already like MAF, TB, Injectors, few others.....

 

there is no reason not to trust woody...he is building my 347 and It should be done soon..I ordered it in november so expect a 3 month wait..but he'll treat you right....last I knew he had 28 motors to build..so get in line asap!!! and there is nothing wrong with Jay Allen at camshaft innovations..the cam grinder woddy uses..but if you choose a ots cam the xe 274 is a good choice..I'm using a xe 282..just send the cam and flywheel to woody so he can install cam and balance assembley....most strokers use the 28 oz external balance so don't feel like he's fibbing ya'..I am using a fidanza aluminum flywheel

 

Well i bought the 347 Liberator and cant wait to get home in June to put it in along with the TKO600 ill buy in a few months. Just like most of you guys i have a list thats miles long of things i wanna do.
