Default Looking to pick up a new project

Me, my daughter and son are gonna do a project car. They are help do the rebuild and it will end up being their car. I have already started looking for a good car. I am mostly interested in a solid body, so alot of body work won't be required.

We have decided on a 79-86 LX and will do a 306 or 308 carbed set up. My daughter is very excited and has already started planning what kind of look she wants. Unfortunately, she has been around hot rods (thanks to mom and dad) pretty much all of her life...so she wants a "drag" type look and set up.

Will keep ya'll posted on what we find and also will post progress of the build.

Good luck with 4 eyes project.

They look awesome with the SVO body kits and hoods.

So far, Courtney (my daughter) wants a cowl hood (gets that from her dad, LOL) and bigs/littles with racing stripes. The color she wants is DSG with one shade darker racing stripes.

My daughter will be 15 next month and my son is 13. I have to prove a point to 2000GT4.6. The point is how much less expensive it is to mod a 5.0 and run better 1/4 mile times compared to a 2V. The car will be VERY streetable and reliable.

Not only that, but they're a hell of a lot easier to work on too.
