joining the 5.0 community
Ok i'm dj, im 19 and i'm here to join in the 5.0 community.
I drive a 1991 lincoln mark VII which i bought when i was 13 for $700.
stripped the interior, straight pipe exhaust, and coil spring conversion.
it has a rebuilt AOD tranny with a stage 2 shiftkit (only 2000 miles on it)
and now that i have a better understanding of an internal combusion engine, after tinkering with my 92 2.3L, and 96 3.8L, and various other engines... here is where i am now.

RE: joining the 5.0 community
i sold it a few months back to a guy who wanted it to race... got $1500 for it.. last friday he took it to the track, blew the motor up on the second run. he ran a 14.02 second at 103 mph, but i bought it back for $100 without the motor and just got it running with that motor today... took 5 hours to get it in and running... prolly at 16 seconds now.. again[X(]

that mark vii looks pretty sweet, never cared much for the white ones... mine was originally burgundy. but i like the flat black look. thats in a lot better shape than mine.. my interior is completly gutted. these cars are heavy. lolz and thats just an understatement
