Default HEATER CORE SELLER

Hey everyone, im looking for a new OEM core for my 88 gt hatch. I want a complete system. with the restrictor and tubeing. Who sells these kits, and which are the best.

Not even dealers carry the restricted heater hoses anymore, not to hard to make one though. I would goto NAPA to get a heater core and heater hoses unless it is something else you are looking for.

i heard that only the OEM cores from ford are dependable.

Just go to the dealer then. And you can make the restrictor with a hand drill and a chunk of stainless or aluminum round bar.

50 resto has a heatercore kit, hoses and all..then you buy the restricor seperate for a whopping 12 bucks or something...its what i got...yet to install it tho

50resto.com. Even the hoses are Motorcraft.

The factory ford ones aren't all they're hyped up to be. We did the 89 AGAIN this weekend, this time replacing the replacement Ford core that we did a couple years ago. It swelled up on the input side just like mjr's... not as bad as his though.
The factory ford one from last time was a Valeo (made in mexico) and it looked sort of rough, and the one we put in this weekend was a Visteon, that looked a bit better in quality, but was still made in mexico.
I think its just luck of the draw of weather or not your getting a good one.

It took the both of us a little less than 4 hours...
