Wow that's a real nice car you picked up! Body looks good and it appears (from what you've shown us) to be in good shape mechanically. The paint looks real good too. $1300 sounds pretty good for only needing some love on the interior.

As far as the rust, it should be pretty easy to sand it off and coat it with some primer and/or spraypaint, since they look like areas that would be covered up with interior trim anyway.

sweet, so all i need to do is just sand it off? or would a wire wheel work better? ima work on this when i get home from school tomorrow.

EDIT: also, how hard would it be to take those long side panels out and clean em up, maybe spray em gray again.

That looks like a remote mirror switch for the 87 - 93's but yeah WTF is it doing in the armrest pad when the other pictures show manual mirrors?

got a lot of the rust sanded off today, also pulled the side panels out and washed them off. they just need some new paint. im gonna strip the matting out tomorrow that was behind the panels. proble take the headliner down also.
