yea 400 wouldnt even get close to covering to fix it properly

 

If you made him that nervous he should had told you to take it somewhere else

 

they messed up your car, therefor its their responcability to get all the parts to fix it.

you need a new center console, carpet, seat, and headliner at the very least.... nevermind the possible wiring damages

 

that is honestly a f#cked up deal i say you should not settle for 400 and further pursue this,

i mean carpet,back seats i dont know about your fronts,the headliner,wiring?,how are the plastic side trim pieces this is well over 400 just in products not to count the removal of the bad stuff and fixing the hole? and reinstalling everything

i agree with everyone else. $400 in not even close to enough. Get an estimate from the nicest shop around you and now you can use this as an excuse to do a rear seat delete and not have your wife yell at you

Take them to court and make sure you get enough to cover cost of repairs, plus labor, plus at least $400 for their stupidity

 

That sucks! My question is, how are you supposed to make nervous when you are sitting in the lobby? You must be one intimidating ****! $400 is no where near enough to cover that. Like said above, get an estimate and show them. If they refuse, you can be the new owner of a muffler shop!

yeah man don't settle for the 400 , he shouldn't be that nervous haveing you around when he is welding , and you said it was his lacky who did it , the shop is responsible and i would take them for full value of the parts , labor and mental anguish for the semi-destruction of your pride and joy .make em pay [sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=shootshoot.gif]

 

Id see me messing him up if I were giving him one of my go-to-hell looks and it were his first day, but neither one of those were happening so he had no excuse to suck. Im going there tomorrow afternoon on my lunch break... I think Im gonna get more money than 400 judging by the reactions. Thanks fellas.

Center console - Dime sized burn, black marks
Passenger seat - Total loss, entire bottom and foam gone
Carpet - Passenger side total loss, fine from the seat back
CD book - done for with 14 cds
Pass seat wiring harness - total loss
Dime sized hole in floor pan 2" inside from pass seat rail (toward driver side rail)
Smoke smell - ****ed up
Headliner fine
Dash fine
Arm pad fine

....I think I saved things from being a hell of a lot worse..
