the time has come.
ok the guy i live with says i can tear the motor down, progress will begin tonight. not sure yet of what im going to go with but its going to be 306 based and ready for turbo boost a year or so down the road. i cant sell it so i might as well build it. want to know if anyone thinks tfs hi-port heads will be good for boost. i forget their exact name but they no longer make them. i can pick them up for about 600-700$.

anyone with ideas for me would be nice? im looking to keep it within a $3000 budget, all work done by me, i have a hook up for machine work,so throw some ideas. i want to be hitting mid - low 12's no boost on a 306. and if you say this isnt obtainable then i will have to prove you guys wrong. im talking around 8.5 - 9.0 compression
