Default Lower Intake Leaking at Bolt

Hello again. I have an '88 GT 5.0.
In an attempt to adjust the idle, we found a leak in the upper intake around one of the center mounting bolts. (It acts like a vaccum leak.) After placing a washer on the bolt and sealing it up, we still seem to have the leak. This is a stock intake, and just so you'll know it is a speed density set-up.
Next step is to remove the intake and get it checked for cracks. We're pretty sure the problem is at the bolt. Of course, once all that's done, we'll probably just pick a new intake if it indeed is the problem.
If there's another way to fix this without removing everything, I'd like to know.

Does this sound like a cracked intake? Is this a common problem?

The two middle bolts (nearest the middle of the intake) are the bolts that go directly into the egr exhaust port in the lower intake. Sometimes, if the intake bolts havent been checked in a while, the exhaust pressure will slowly back the bolt out causing a small exhaust leak. Usually, you can just take the upper intake off, and properly retorque the lower intake bolts and problem solved. You might check to make sure that the lower intake gasket itself didn't blow out in the same general area. good luck.

remove the suspected bolt, squeeze some red RTV silicone into the hole, screw the bolt back in
