I drove my mustang in the winter for around a month once when I was in school and my daily driver broke down[8D]

It was horrible, I don't care how "expereinced" ofa driver you are, they are not winter cars

Now a days it sits in the garage 99% of the time

It's really not that hard. Put the right tires on it, keep the suspension balanced and don't drive like a retard. Wrong tires = back end comes out. Bad driving = back end comes out. Suspension imbalance making the rear softer than the front = back end comes out. I have to actually try to get mine to break loose in the wet when I have the right tires.

My 91gt does just fine in the rain. I think the majority of it has to do with experience, and the type of tires that you are using. I personally use high performance wet/dry tires, and have been using them year round. Its horrible in the snow, but you don't see my sliding all around like an idiot. If you know how to drive the car, and know how to control it, you will be just fine. If you don't, then you will end up hurting either the car, yourself or someone else.

i need new tires mine are bald plus by suspention sucks so i alredy have 2 thing agenst driving in bad weather and yet i dont have a problem doing it. i can keep my car strate or sidways when i want it that way. you just need to lern how to drive. where i get the most truble is now that the ice and snow is off the roads the gravle is in its place and that is IMO harder then the ice. but then agen i have bald tires.

I was driving my cousins 1990 5.0 with him in it, and he told me tobe careful since the streets were a bit slick... I was making a right turn at about 5 mph, and just before I was done with the turnI decided to give it a little gas... the car spins out and did almost a 360,but I managed to not hit any other cars, but I did hit a high curb... I had the window open and a guy told me I was leaking anti-freeze, but it wasn't that... the curb severed the line of the transmission fluid I believe, and I tried putting it into drive once we seen what was wrong, but it didn't move... now I know what transmission fluid does. Anyone else have this problem where it's almost impossible to drive in the rain with theircar?
1. when its icey or whatever out its commen sense to not give it alot of gas
2. become a better driver.. get off the gas and control it, its pretty hard to do a 360
