Default cam selection 303

303... afr 185 heads..bbk ssi intake (I know not very popular)..70 mm...1.6 hs roller rockers..full length headers..c4..3.50 gear..looking for cam suggestions..thanx

Anything bigger and you'll need to notch those pistons.

Not to hijack, just to clear up some things for myself: are the ford letter cams just kind of generic grinds for easy and quick cam choosing?

i dont know much about cams(the numbers confuse me and i dont know what they mean)

i want an e cam because i love the lope but a lot of ppl keep telling me no lol

Pretty much, and just older technology, steeda trickflow comp crane lunatithere all better cams mainly due to there dual pattern.

Overlap: 62 degrees.

Custom grind is always the best method, but not always the most affordable.

Look to spend an extra $130 or so for a custom grind cam.

It is well worth it to me for better driveability and power at the same time for those nice heads you have.
