how f***ed am i (pics)
ok i have 2 broken bolts when i was taking my timing cover off. on the d/s i was using an easy out and well it didnt go so easy. i cracked the block off see below
do i need a new block or can i jb weld it. (yea i know its not good. im quite pissed.)

well its one side of the bolt hole that broke off. how much farther into the block do i have? how crucial are those bolts. i have one on the other side that broke and im not looking forward to drilling/tapping it. if i can booger itup with rtv then i will. i dont care how hack it is right now. ill make it work

wow... that sucks.....if you can use a mini torch.. heat aroung bolt and squirt pb into it and then drill tap and helicoil it and looks as if you got enough surface for gasket to seal still

you need to remove that motor and take it to the machine shop,the torch you need is not there.
Alot of people dont believe shi stink about this happening, every 5.0 I worked on had this happen, the bolt becomes the block.
