I guess it really depends on the teachers. When I was in tech school, it was a joke. I knew more than most of our instructors. My classmates all wondered what I was doing there. At the time, it was for mearly a piece of paper, nothing else. I got very little out of that course.
i can say that for a couple of my classes like brakes and under car. under car was just like where is the rear diff on the car or how do we dismount tires. the only hard part in that class was remembering wheel and suspention angles and alignment angles

yea man!!! I'Z A smart as* in more ways than one[sm=happy046.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]to tell you the truth I was going to go into the law enforcement field like FBI....or CIA... but I cought a lot of flack from my Dad at the time about the mental strain of such a job on me personally and a eventual family...........so he extended the offer to me 7 years ago to work at the shop with the understanding I get all the necessary credentials..... I figure a job out of college was good enough at the time as I really wanted to work on cars to further my knowledge of the hobby .and continue my project 5.0 that I bought and started in UTAH......well one thing lead to another and now I'm full blown imersed in it..........I could do other things but I really enjoy what I do...just not the lack of work right now!!!...anyway that's just a little of my story now you can see why the pieces of paper and titles in the world don't mean more than the paper they are written on..cause look at me I have a college degree and I'm not even using it......but one thing college taught me was how to take tests and past them..doesn't mean I'm smart...just I can take a test and pass it!!
