"Tech Certified" ???

I guess it really depends on the teachers. When I was in tech school, it was a joke. I knew more than most of our instructors. My classmates all wondered what I was doing there. At the time, it was for mearly a piece of paper, nothing else. I got very little out of that course.

well to tell you the truth.. I never went to any formal tech school..I grew up with the stuff as my father owned a shop and then in college while studying for a degree I got a job on campus at the auto shop and was trained there for 3 years is all aspects and I learned more as a mech helper than I did in my classes I took to get a bachleors degree in political science and spanish......then upon graduation I spent many hours studying ase course books and teaching myself theroy and operation... then I am currently enrolled in car quest advance training courses and am studying to be a bosch master tech = 5 certifications got 1 done 4 more to go...........but one thing about this industry is the learning never can stop cause as fast as you are learning..technology is being developed

i can say that for a couple of my classes like brakes and under car. under car was just like where is the rear diff on the car or how do we dismount tires. the only hard part in that class was remembering wheel and suspention angles and alignment angles
