alright when i bought my mustang it was not running because the previous owner put in a new engine. i have no i idea what year the engine is and the guy i bought it from does not remember he thinks its from the late 70's or early 80's. where is the code on the engine so i can find out what year it is. im wanting to do some mods to it and i dont really know if a 302 differs from year to year.

i know its a stupid question, but any help will be appreciated.
