I was drving my aod on the freeway. this maxima with fart can came flyin past me. I downshifted to drive and took off. When i tried to shift back into od it was like i was in neutral. My engine just reved super high, but i didn't go any faster. So i drove the rest of the way in d. then I put it back into od from a stop light. It drove fine until it hit the od gear again, so now, i always have to drive in d[:@]

 

thats what my aode did in my 94..about 2 weeks before 1st gear n 2nd gear started slipping and ...once i had no od, and the problems with 1st n 2nd i got fed up with it n swapped in a manual...

 

time for a rebuild.. sounds like the typical aod failure of the overdrive bad[:@]
