the quote of i'm the only one that carries this so I can charge what I want would be enough for me to go design my own set up and market it to rub it in his face !!!...then see how long his 6000 dollar tag stays that high

a guy that i lived near a few years ago had an old volvo 4 banger that he had made a dual roots blower set up for. they mounted next to each other on an angle like /\ . i guess it was pretty crazy but he sold it years before i knew him though. this had very little to do with the topic but i thought i'd share it anyway

I've seen what he's talking about done in reality!! looked wierd/neat as heck!! I was at the track about 4-5 years ago and some dude had swapped in a fuel injected set up into a old style fairmont and had fabbed up his own plate set up to cover up the vanes and fabed up his own bracketry and tubing and had it mounted to the side like a cintrifigual set up would be.......it worked well too!!.. he was running low 12's
I believe I have seen this same car, 3.8L supercharger correct? It was pretty freakin neat.
I think he is trying to say it was a 3.8L supercharger on a 5.0 motor like I was saying
My sister inlaw had a gtp grand pre it had instant boost Im thinking it had like 15# of boost stock so im sure you can get atleast 8# to 10# on a 5.0

gtp's don't have 15 pounds of boost stock, I think its more like 7 or 8

No this was at my local drag strip 4-5 years ago and it was a 5.0 motor all custom fab work done
Correct the engine was a 302 but the Eaton was from a 3.8L out of the SuperCoupe. If it is the same car that I am thinking of.

Yes they can, with tighter rotors and a smaller pulley.

Edit: I will stick my foot in my mouth now, I missed the whole stock part.

You want cheap performance? Do what one of the stang magazines did an article on and get 2 of the 4 cyl turbos and slap them on the 5.0 and have a set of Twins.
