It was a good winter project for me 7-8 hrs on Saturday and maybe 4-5 hrs on Sunday. I never workedon itduring the week.

ive seen that car many times and every time i still get shocked at how clean and shiny it is.
i dont have the patience to polish all that. maybe ill do what you did tho and do it all over the winter

If you have a problem with it......... its like polishing ur shoes while watching TV.... or lack of better word = multi-tasking.

If you've got nothing else going on during the winter it a great project to do.
Just go into the garage turn on the tunes, and don'tthink about a thing; it's just that easy to do.
Remember one thing though about trying to Polish a part in the winter, warm the piece up some before you try to polish it. Otherwise more than likely you'll get that cloudy look to the piece instead of the brilliant shine you're looking for.

i see lots looked int this i did a stock 5.0 ho plaque cant rember what i started with i used 220 and finished with 1200 that bitch gleames oh
i did this all by hand after the 1200 i used jewlers rougge i think thats how it is spelled on a rag then rubbing compound and lastly black finger nail polish i'll try to post some pics
