Almost Stock, I was looking on Eastwood and was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the emery compound, tripoli, and white rouge in the bulk packages instead of the single tubes. About how much do you use on an average size metal piece?

I usedprobably 1-1/2 of the 14oz. size tubes of the Tripoli and White Rougeto do my complete engine and 2 different intake manifolds. SinceI just started using the Emery Compound to reduce my sanding I may have used 1/16th of that 17oz. tube on theGT 40 Intake if I had to guess how much of the compounds I've used if that helps?

What about clear coating a polished surface? Do you think it will preserve it to a point that is worth it?

I've tried just about every clear coat on the market and everyone of them that I've tried hasput a slight yellow tinge on my polished parts so I've given up on clear coats, but that's just me!
The best clear with the least amount of yellowing that I did find however was Eastwood's Diamond Clear; it yellowed the least..... but it still yellowed.

I just got my order from Eastwood today and it came with a discount code for future purchases within 30 days. PM me if you plan on ordering from them to get the code (10% off). I'm not sure how many times it can be used, I'm assuming only once.
