ok here is the deal i am in the process of tradeing mydd dodge dakota for another fox . i have 2 guys willin to trade but when you ask them what has been done to the cars they have no idea , 1 is a 88 gt and i asked a simple q has it been converted to mass air or is it still sd (said it has 133k on body and 70k on engine)guys says it has a cai i am like ok dumby meeting him tomarow .
the second is a 93 5.0 lx hatch asked him what was done and he said it was stock but pics of engine bay have a cobra intake on it .
what do you guys think of this stuff , just a rant pretty much , i would like to find a fox owner around here who knows what i am talking about besides nitrousd85, who is in my area cuz i would realy hate to waste my time and gas to check these cars out if they don't know the basic things of them , the car could be subpar and they think that is norm .

yeah i just bought a 88 GT the guy was a complete retard about it
he told me i needed some steeda clutch adjuster so i went and looked for one i got the car home and turns out it had the clutch adjuster on it

 

that is what i am talkin about , i can understand if they are not mechanically inclined but atleast know what you got man for pete's sake . i mean if they are numb to the 5.0 world and it has good hipo parts on it yeah i am gonna take em for a sucker but to tell me all this stuff about it and say you don't know much about the car is different
