Not sure on the numbers but I can tell you this, my Stang with 3.90's gets better gas mileage than my daily driver 2000 Dodge Intrepid.

86 gt stock gears 5 speed 232k original mile 26mpg freeway.....10-15 city.
keep in mind at 60mph my rpm is 1.5k so i get good gas freeway, add 3.73 and ill drop

we been having alot of posts about this lately .. basically everyone is gonna tell you it depends on how you drive .. i usually around 3 or 4 k and get like 13 mpg but after seeing all these posts i tired shifting at 2 k everytime and i ended up with 18mpg on that tank ....

ya i shift @ 2,000-2,500 rpms and now i have a good tune up on it so i should get better then 15 now.

I get about 16-16.5 pretty consistent in my '06 3500 Cummins 4x4 LWB SRW. I think that's pretty good.
