What are you guys using to repair your 1/4 window trim? Anyone know of a write-up and/or steps (pics) on what to do and what to use?

go on ebay, they make a plastic trim peice that just glues right over the old trim. looks like factory and doesnt wear like the other stuff. it will run you around 70 for both sides but makes alot of difference. im ordering mine tomorrow

it may sound a little ricey, but it works. sandit pretty good with a fine sandpaper, thentape everything offand then spray paint it with a black spray paint.

I read something about a rattle can filler primer that you spray on and then sand repeat and the paint. Anyone done this?

I dont know of anyone who has used that piece and been satisfied with it. It's kinda like a half assed paint job, it looks ok from 10 feet away. Just google it, there are a lot of write ups on how to do it right.

I used Dupli-color filler primer and Ford Semi-Gloss engine enamel on mine. They look great. I also painted the rest of the trim with that paint. Highly recomend it.
