Default Taction Loss Need HELP!!!

Well Guys,

I went to the track the other day and ended up running a Very slow time due to Wheel spin a ton of it.
I need help with Getting more traction and get a better 60ft time. I have 3.55 gear's and hotchkis Upper and
Lower Control arms and still I'm only getting 2.5 with a 1,500RPM Launch.

I have 1993 Cobra 17" Rims with 245/45/R17 Tires F&R.

I was thinking of that but the old owner of the wheels did 2.0 with 3.73's on same combo tires and rims.
is it my launch need to raise it up some maybe around 3,000RPM?

You are only going to spin more if you launch harder.

275/40/17 MT Drag Radials are you friend!!!! They are about $180 a peice.

you can play with your technique all you want..some times it'll hook depending on how well you slip the clutch but a 2.0 60ft = sucks.....with sticky tires I was able to pull down high 1'7's consistantly an a mildly built motor and stock to the bone suspension......you'll pick up nearly a half second with sticky tires and you won't have to play with launch technique to much

I put MT et streets on my 15 inch 10 holes... but I rarely use them anymore as I have a set of welds with MT et street drag radials... if you don't care about swapping tires at the track go for the et street slicks... if you wanna drive to the track then et drag radials

I used 26 X10.5X15...they balloon a little so a size skinnier may be better.. hoosier makes a in between size that fit well on turbines and 10 holes without the ballon effect
