**New brown boxes** DONE with PICS!! --update--
JUST GOT DELIVERED!
who wants to guess what's in the boxes???
sooo
as promised, i finished
well anyways, this was my first header install and needless to say first long tube header install. once removing the motor mount bolts the driverside header slid right in. the passenger was a little harder even with the starter out. the HARDEST part was aligning the motor on the mounts again. i barely remember how we did it. i think i just kept sticking screwdrivers in the hole and pulling the mount over until i could get enough of the bolt in *nightmare*.
hooking up the midpipe to the headers and old flowmasters was pretty rough too. the header side didnt quite sit right but with some hammering and 'persuation' we were able to get them on the bolts so tightening them down they aligned themselves.
final thoughts: the exhaust is AMAZING. no more leaks. the bbk stuff is nice and high quality. the exhaust no longer hangs low and retarded, its nice and tight up against the body of the car. The sound... i was used to the beat-up car sound and i loved it. it now sounds like a much deeper yet hollower car, but more modern i guess. both of my friends love the sound an di like it myself. here are the pics.
