i have a 88 gt and need to replace the motor mounts and was wondering whats the easiest way to do this. a list of steps would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Unbolt from the bottom of the k-member
Jack up the motor for support
Unbolt the Trans crossmember
Jack up some more and unbolt the mounts from the side of the block

Last time I did mounts my motor was on a hoist so that sounds like a way to do it with everything together.
Someone else may chime in to add something IDK.

Its easier to drop the engine in with mounts attached to the block..

I just take everything off the engine thatis around the mounts(mainly headers),attach an engine hoist to the engine and jack it up, and unbolt the mounts,put the new ones in. That way always worked for me.

do one side at a time makes it easier
