302 block casting number help
rumor has it that this block i just picked up along with heads, crank, distributor,intake,carb,fan,oil pan, cam, etc. that the block is from a mustang, however, i can't find the casting number on the block for shi*!!! i looked on several sights and all said that the casting number on the block was below the starter(which has to be removed) this is a bare block that still needs to be machined but i cleaned it fairly well with the pressure washer and have yet to find any numbers but the following: 33 with an E7TE below it and a CA below the E7TE followed by an S at the bottom. i know they are longer than that but thats all i have found on the block along with a bunch of 33's and YYY's.
i refered to the intake for more help and heres what i got off the intake: D7OE-AC.
hope this info can lead me to some help. i would hate to haul this block off to the machine shop only to get them to locate it for me and prove me to be an ***. thanks in advance!

E7TE is the casting number for a roller 5.0 block or roller ready block
this casting number was carried until 91 when it changed to F1.......

F=90
E7's started in 87 so E7 make sense
i have a funny feeling the block is ruinedhowever, i htink the casting number broke off. or do the roller blocks not have true casting numbers? what exactly is a roller block? and does it have any benefits over a standard 302?
