*** Vids of me at the track*** FINALLY!!!!!
Well, I finally got some vids of me at the track.....
The track sucks. Its just a low budget track that was created in a parking lot. Its called "Race Legal" and it was designed to keep kids from street racing. My first run sucked. I was using my friend's 275/60/15 MT Drag Radials and couldnt hook for chit tonight, it was quite cold. I was pulling 2.0 60 fts all night long.[:@] When I used my frind's ET Streets, I was pulling 1.7/1.8 60 fts. They failed to mention that the first yellow light was broken on the tree and it caught me off guard. My first reaction time was a .9 [&:]
After that, I was back down to my usual .520-.600 reactions. I was spinning through first all night long. Traction sucks at that track. I even lowered the tires down to 10psi and still wasnt hooking till the bottom of second.
1st run) .9 reaction, 9.0 at 80 mph, 2.1 60 ft.
2nd run) .569 reaction, 9.0 at 81 mph, 2.0 60ft
3rd run) .560 reaction, 8.8 at 81 mph, 2.0 60 ft
4th run) .590 reation, 10.0 at 65, 2.0 60 ft (missed 3rd)
5th run) .605 reaction, 10.1 at 63, 2.0 60 ft (missed 3rd)
6th run) .520 reaction, 8.65 at 81.5, 2.0 60 ft
I missed 3rd on two runs. Even after slowing down, I was having problems getting it in. I'm pretty sure Im low on tranny fluid. When I was putting my dumps on, I noticed a very small leak. I think the rear seal is going out on the tranny.[:@] I'll go ahead and accept it as driver error though.

Im getting a FREE dyno tomorrow!!!!!!

Here is a video of my friends 99 Cobra that has a Termi kit on it and painted Mystic. He has full bolt ons and put 330 to the wheels. He ran an 8.1 with 110 race fuel.

Oh, and FuzzyDiceRules finally got off his *** and came down to watch. He's a pretty cool guy. He's like 16 yrs old and 6'12" tall though.[&:]

I was "supposed" to get in 4 free last night, but my friemd couldnt do it.
Thanks for the compliments guys. I am a little dissapointed though. I wish I had a chance to go to a real track out here. Im confident I bang out some 8.2-8.3's if I could hook. What do you guys think considering my mph? Also, I need to work on powershifting into third. It wasnt pretty when I tried last night.[&:]
