I've been looking at some 5.0s lately and am trying to figure out what kind of power they make. I am coming froma 95 firebird formula, so i know the LT1 etc pretty well but have never owned a 5.0. Looking at a 95 GT with Long tubes, o/r h pipe, flowmasters, Trick flow heads, trick flow upper and lower intake manifolds, forged rods and pistons,F303 cam, 1.6 RR's, CAI, 65mm TB, 255LPH pump and a few other little things. Any whp or flywheel hpestimates?

probably about 280 rwhp if its a 5.0.

yeah i'd guess somewhere in the 275-305rwhp range.
depends on how well it was tuned.
is it stroked? I only ask due to the forged pistons/rods.
if it is id guess between 360-400, again depending on the tune.

275-285........and it might feel about as fast as the lt-1 you had maybe a little faster
