ok so last time i posted it was about my offroad pipe, i got it and installed it and still am frustratd about the sound.....i have stock headers, bbk offroad hpipe, flowmaster mufflers...dunno which ones 2.5 inch pipes.....how do i get this thing louder???
If you have the american thunder system there isnt much more you can do except build a real motor with some compresion. FL headers will make it sounder better under WOT, not sure if they are any louder. If you want loud get the SLP exhuast, sounds like **** but makes noise!

Yeah you probably got 3 chambers, most shops will give you those unless you specify. I have O/R H and Delta 40's, and I dont think its loud enough, but all of my buddies think its plenty loud.

Edit - This is USMC1775, btw haha

stock headers?
87-93 came with "stock headers" from the factory. They are headers but they are dented at the ports which make they retangular and not flow as well as aftermarket ones. Easier install for the factory.

I know they came with stock headers. What I was wondering was why do all the exhaust mods with stock headers when there are so many good aftermarket headers?

Thats about the best pic I have of it. My cam took a dump so I cant take more.

Basically, we shortened the flowtubes about 3", and bent a 'S' out of 3" tubing. It makes almost a U turn right out of the mufflers, and then snakes back toward the outside. They end about 6" from the side of the car, to keep them low profile.

I would recommend getting shorter mufflers if that is the setup you want, because itll make it easier with bends not so tight.

heheh... here thisll help

OK, that exactly how I thought about doing mine. I don't know if I will be able to shorten the flowtubes to do clearnaces in the front of the muffler so mine will be a little bit tighter than your curves. I was just curious.

Nice drawing lol.
