i BELIEVE HE IS GOING FROM CALIFORNIA to New York

Yes, I read that part. Justin, how is that owned? I meant in miles. So what if it racks up a few hundred miles. It's not like it's a freaking classic car. Not worth the bother or worry IMO!

MIke I see you're busy too huh? [:@]

If you plan on renting a full u-haul trailer your in for a slow and dangerous ride. I trailered mine on a u haul for about 300 miles, they are scarry, all over the friggin road.

I just went on their site and found out that they won't rent any equipment to be trailed on Explorers.....WTF!!

Looks like I am going to have to have it shipped.....$1200 door-to-door......not bad.....I guess [:@]

man just go down to the junk yard and pick up a set of cheap spares and put them on which ever axle will be on the dolly and the tire size will fit then

Apparently, they had too many lawsuits back in the day......remember all the Explorers rolling back in 2000?? I guess they do not realize that the newer Explorers are not as dangerous.......

The best thing is, they will rent to Aviator and Mountaneer which is the same damn vehicle?!? [:'(]

I tell you, the fact that you said the trailers are that bad...makes me not want to do it anyway......3000miles is a long way to be going slow (and scary)

$1200 is not bad for shipping coast to coast as long as they are bonded and insured. Way back in 93 i was pricing for getting my truck shipped from virginia to WA, the price then was $1100.
