If you plan on renting a full u-haul trailer your in for a slow and dangerous ride. I trailered mine on a u haul for about 300 miles, they are scarry, all over the friggin road.

man just go down to the junk yard and pick up a set of cheap spares and put them on which ever axle will be on the dolly and the tire size will fit then

The best thing is, they will rent to Aviator and Mountaneer which is the same damn vehicle?!? [:'(]
I tell you, the fact that you said the trailers are that bad...makes me not want to do it anyway......3000miles is a long way to be going slow (and scary)

$1200 is not bad for shipping coast to coast as long as they are bonded and insured. Way back in 93 i was pricing for getting my truck shipped from virginia to WA, the price then was $1100.
