ya black stripes up the hood? Also im not really a fan of the stripe goin all the way down. Would it look bad if i didnt do that.

Clear lenses, no.

Give the hood and the cowl panel a shot of black primer.

The cleaner and more simple looking, the better IMO.

You have a vert so there is no reasonable approach to getting rid of the black top. Keep silver paint (it looks great and repainting with the same color is safe and easy). I personally like the black stripe with light color combinations but I am obviously biased

My guess is you have black interior....... Get yourself some nice silver 5 spoke rims. Not a fan of the ones you posted a pic of but you are starting in the right place. I like the older tail lights but if you must replace them, get the new style LX or some smoke ones. I have smoke headlights and I really like them. Everything on my ride is bright white or glossy black.

A four eye vert with clean sliver and black everywhere is sexy as hell IMO. Yeah I like solid colors too but when it comes to light colors.....the black stripe catches the eye.

Then it comes down to how to do the stripes, if i were to do them. I sort of like the look of the stripes not going down the whole bumper, like this one...



But then on hte back, if i have a spoiler of some sort, would you go like this?


I was also thinking that if the stripes were like this, to put a sort of pin stripe thing around them like the other pic.

I dunno man. Cowl hoods are tough to look good with racing stripes. I like the way the spoiler looks in those pictures.....But if your car were mine - I'd go with satin black on the cowl only and alsoon the headlight bezels like USMC did in his example.

His example looks good but if you want a stipe going front to back I'd consider painting the wholecowl black.....maybe a black spoiler??? Kinda 80's.....But then again so are louvers!

I've seen some two toned jobs that look plain sick. Not sure if that's your taste though.

i wouldnt go with the stripes i dont really like them to begin with but i definetly dont think the go well with verts, he dont look right with the top up. i like the idea about the black around the four eyes, kinda like the 93-97(?) cameros. no sure about the black on side of the cowl i guess id have to see it
