Not a bad sounding car. Seems to be in good condition. I'd say ask for interior pics and hope you like the LX look. My first mustang was a 91 LX. Ran pretty good. But had a newly build 306...

im definitely going to try to talk him down i can't afford 3 grand right now and besides its been on craigslist for a few months now so he may be itching to get rid of it. im planing on showing up with cash in hand haha

that's what I was going to say. Show up with $2300 cash, maybe a couple hundred more for negotiating. Assuming you don't live too far from the car's location.

first thing I'd do is yank the stage 3 clutch...=pointless in a stock mustang and more so will kill your leg and thrust bearing[:@]

I would offer him 2k, then walk away, if he doesn't fall for that old trick then offer him $2,500 the most.

I was thinking the same on the clutch but you need more pics to come up with an offer, don't know about rust or interior

well im going to see it first and give it test ride too before i offer him anything and why is that clutch pointless? (im new at this i seriously am asking)
